A traditional hotel with much history, the Fort d'Auvergne Hotel is rated three stars by the Internationally recognised AA. The hotel offers 65 en-suite guest bedrooms. Sea/beach view bedrooms are available as well as a number of balcony bedrooms all with superb views of the coastline that experiences one of the largest tidal ranges in the world with the tide seeming to disappear over the horizon twice a day after being upto the seawall only a couple of hours before.
We are unique in our locality in also providing a large private seafront sun terrace area for the exclusive enjoyment of resident guests.
An excellent public bus service stops directly outside our reception lounge. The Fort d'Auvergne Hotel has no on-site car park due to its unique maritime site, however, public car parks are available within a five minute walk of the hotel.
Car hire is available from Sovereign Car Hire, across the road from the hotel - overnight parking for Sovereign hire cars may be available by separate arrangement with this operator directly.
The Fort d’Auvergne Hotel is bordered by the sea and sandy beach on two sides and occupies what is one of the best maritime positions in Jersey’s capital, St Helier.
